GOOG 411GOOG 411 is an interesting little project Google is working on. Dial 800-GOOG-411 from your phone and access their free directory service. It’ll save you a few dollars from dialing the typical 411 service on your cell phone and it doesn’t have any ads like some of the other “free” services do.

Sadly, I tried it in Auburndale and it redirected me to the closest Orlando listing. I’m assuming that since it’s still in development, it only provides service for larger cities right now. Good to have though, when we make the trip.
