What part of the day is it reserved for? Or is it the whole day? A girl needs details!
We have it from 1pm to 7pm and if it rains or there’s bad weather, they can have it inside the house.
I love how you two do your wedding planning
Wow, it reminds me of the house from The Notebook
This is going to be a wonderful wedding
Shan: For the record, I told her about the place and sent her pictures, getting her approval, BEFORE I posted this
I know…but being the controlling bride that I was/still am, I would have specified the times of the ceremony, the exact place/position I wanted to say “I Do”, the kind of lighting I wanted/needed for pictures, where people should park and the way the lawn should be manicured before I sent the groom on a wedding errand
Then I would have said, “oh, never mind, I’ll do it”
I love how laid back you guys are. I strive to be that way
This is going to be the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen! You two really know how to do romance!
I know how much Jules wants it outdoors, so lets pray the weather will be kind!
Shan, its sounding more like you don’t think Jules is doing a good enough job at it. But it’s her day and she’ll see that it gets done the way she wants. Her and Wade are doing a great job on the details. I love their ideas for the cake.
Allen: I think you’re reading Shan’s comments wrong. Thanks for the “defense” but it’s not needed here
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!
Allen: You have me all wrong. I am not the horrible person that you think I am. I was actually making fun of myself, not Julie. If you really knew me, you’d see that.
Shan:
At least I love you
…oops, sorry, Julie loves us all…
Holy crap people. The ceremony will be perfect but the reception we should sell on Pay-Per-View
The first person to start ANYTHING gets cow-tipped down dad’s front yard
Does that count for kids too?!
lol
I wasent trying to start anything, I simply don’t know my own sister and misread her comment. Gee!
Reeny: No. Cow-tipping the kids down the hill will be part of the reception activities
Hey, I got an idea! The person who can “tip” a kid the farthest, gets to keep the kid!!!
LOL And no fair picking a light kid, we have to draw names!
I’m glad you enjoy “our home”. My husband and I purchased the house in 1993, began restoration in 1995. We sold the restored house to the Mill Springs Battlefield Association in the fall of 2004, and retained residency until the end of May, 2005. No…the stains on the stairs aren’t blood, as they now say; only stain dripped by the workmen during the restoration! I so much miss living there and being lulled to sleep at night by the gentle sounds of the springs! Failing health forced us to sell the home we so dearly love. Enjoy your time there.
