It’s 4am and I was playing poker, with play money, online. Done with my game, I decided to go look in on some of the real money tables. I sorted it by blinds and found a group of 5 people playing $500/$1,000 blinds- of REAL MONEY.

I decided to peek in on the table and this is what I saw.

I couldn’t believe it. There was over $815,000 of real money at play between these 5 people.

I watched for a while, amazed at bets of 10, 15 thousand dollars. Few hands made it to the end, because when you’re dealing with that much money, there’s rare bluffing. The image above is such an example.

After durrrr invested over $20,000 to see the final card, he folded to world1969’s raise of $21,000.

Looking at my current financial situation & poker skills, I had to close out the window as I started to feel sick with jealously :\

Being poor, sucks.

(p.s. Packphour Protip: There was no possibility of quads, a flush or a straight on that hand posted above. The highest hand someone could of had was trips. My guess was that world1969 slow-played his trip 2’s, 4’s or K’s while durrr chased a river after the turn. When the 8 of spades hit, it ruined any chance of a heart flush- which is why he was comfortable raising half of his stack. Durrrr, not hitting the river, saw the 50% stack raise from world1969 and had to fold. *sigh* I need to get into a tournament this week.)

  1. I would go as far as to say that durrrr had the King of hearts, which is why he paid to see the turn.
