A friend and I were talking about how it was weird to see each other online during the daytime. We’ve been chatting during the wee hours of the morning because we’re both nocturnal like that. So when he signed off today and said, “The early bird gets the worm,” I had to counter with something [...]

I found this picture of a gorilla fighting a Newfoundland dog. Wow, they’re aggressive creatures.

Sup’ Pups

11Mar09

My mother’s Yorkie, Root Beer, had puppies. It’s ironic how they look like Rottweilers when they’re young, only to go up to be one of the pansiests dogs I know. They’re like Chihuahuas without the street cred

Our cat Majik does this all the time. I can move him, call his name, etc… but nothing seems to stop him until he’s good and ready to stop. Anyone elses cat do this and any idea why they do it?

Pink Dolphin

03Mar09

In the news today…
The world’s only pink Bottlenose dolphin which was discovered in an inland lake in Louisiana, USA, has become such an attraction that conservationists have warned tourists to leave it alone.

Instant classic.

We Have a Cat!

06Dec08

I’ve tried so many times to get a good picture of her, but never succeeded. I had to force it.
She was a stray that Julie wanted to rescue from the snow, so we took her in. I named her Majik and it seems like Julie has obliged.

I give a lot of love to cats on my website, now it’s time for the dogs.

I altered the title for my Christian readers. Thanks Fipi Lele!

Field Trip

22Aug08

To celebrate Dad & Bethany’s (and Kailey’s ) birthday we went to The Newport Aqaurium near Cincinnati, OH.

The lifecycle of a seaturtle. I stood there for 100 years to get this picture. Borrrrring.

UPDATE: Me laughing at Julie for working instead of joining us.

I’ve never been one for signs, but as strange as this was, I have to think it meant something.

Jules and I have been struggling with something this week and having something happen like this that is so clearly defined and associated with the Bible, God & peace, helped us.
Why do doves represent peace? Because [...]

I knew they were working on it, but I didn’t know they succeeded. Very cool.

My brother & Jamie got their chicks in today and moved their pony & goat to their house. Along with little Joey, there’s just too much cuteness in that household.

One of their chicks was so sleepy, it ended up dying tonight

All of us in the back yard.
